NIMMITABEL CAMPGROUND

Public BBQ

A very small camping park at Nimmitabel that manages to carry everything you need: powered sites, water, grassy ground you can leave the van hitched on, and clean amenities with hot showers. Pay by cash into the honesty box, or ring the number on the information board - the caretaker will take a call after hours. The separate toilet block gets heavy use from passing travellers and is not always as clean as the showers. A horse grazes in the paddock out the back. The local bakery is a short walk away and does very good food, hot coffee and a warm fire, and the town has a club as well.
